Job description

preparation of laws and other regulations in the field of water management;

preparation of strategy and development policies of water management;

coordinating the monitoring of the state of water resources and the preparation of information from the field of water management;

implementation of development documents of integral water management (river basin management plans, programs of measures, flood defense plan, water protection plan against pollution, plans for incident situations, droughts and erosion and other documents according to current legislation);

proposing measures to improve the state of water in the canton/county;

conducting procedures for granting concessions within the competence of the Administration;

decision-making according to requests and ex officio in the administrative procedure for issuing water management, i.e. water acts and decisions on the public good (water management conditions, consents, permits and orders), water management, i.e. water acts;

preparation and implementation of contracts within the competence of the Administration;

execution of other tasks within the competence of the Administration.
