Job description
The veterinary sector is the basic organizational unit of the Ministry that performs administrative and other professional tasks within its scope, namely: Ensures the execution of laws, other regulations and general acts; expertly cooperates in the preparation of regulations and other general acts; carries out administrative supervision; monitors the state of organization in veterinary medicine and the execution of tasks and jobs in animal health care and veterinary activity; makes proposals for solving issues from the field of veterinary medicine and is responsible for the situation in that field; collection and processing of data on the epizootiological situation in the County/Canton: the healthiness of foodstuffs of animal origin and animal food; performing other tasks in the field of animal health protection, veterinary activities and other tasks; preparation of expert analyzes and reports, participation in international professional cooperation; maintaining a database on the occurrence of diseases; monitoring of international regulations in the field of veterinary medicine, performs other tasks in accordance with the law and other regulations.
